Congrats!
Did you get a gator as well or are you holding off for another day?
I'm getting it but I want to demo it first!

Very cool!
HPX I assume? Be sure to get a bed liner for the back, even if your not getting the hydraulic dump, want to protect it. I got the plastic factory one but with the newer spray on stuff I would do that - stuff works excellent!
855D Baby! I think the 855D will suit me better, I will be using it in the fields too. Great to rip around in the dirt![]()
So, then you plant those starts in the "curvy" tracks?!?
Gotta ask... what kind of price did you settle on BEFORE you agreed to a price on your trade-in?
In the neighborhood of 15%?

Good call on the 855D. Nicer machine. Wish I could justify the upgrade or it would already be in the barn![]()
Very funny, About 90k sale price. 105k list.
Trade on 6420 was only 52k. But I can live with that.
The Soil and Water Conservation District in my area has a vegetable planter that is attached to the 3pt. and towed over the beds for planting starts. Either vegetable or flowers.
2-people sit on seats with a couple of metal trays between them with the starts. Metal wheel with V-bars punches a hole in the row ahead of the people planting. They drop a start in the hole and cover - move onto the next hole.
Used on small fields - maybe 2-3 acres - up to 5. Peonies are starting to take hold up here. Folk's getting $3-$5 per bud. Japanese have been discussing Fed-Ex flights.

Be very "colorful" with those curvy, S-tracks...![]()
