No, if you are willing to paint it, I will pay for that. I don't want everything for nothing. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Plus I thought that you only made money by losing money on red . If that is not the case, and you can make a few extra bucks by losing money on blue , then yes, please do. It would be extra nice to have it match it's big brother. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Re: I think it\'s getting close.

I'm leaning toward new, but I don't usually buy new stuff. I'd feel kind of guilty about it. That's where the A-plan comes in. I hoped it would be cheaper than the price quoted so there would really be no choice.

Right now on Ebay there is a 770 about an hour from here with loader, tiller, back blade, rear scoop (why?), and a trailer to carry it all. I was the top bidder a while ago, but there are 5 days left. Somehow, I suspect the guy won't be letting it go for less than 10K, but I'll keep my eye on it.

Another advantage of new is the financing deals out there now. I think I remember Case is offering 0% for 24 months, which isn't bad, and I do like the seats on them a lot. The DX29/33 is even nicer but costs more than I want to spend and is a bit bigger than I want for running around between the trees and such. Also, I can probably get more for the B7100 on the Case since they sell Kubota's there.

If anyone wants a B7100, loader, a couple of extra tires (new), a box of original oil filters, and about a half dozen air filters, pm me with a really nice offer /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif. Then I can get real serious about shopping.

da Teacha:

I don't know if you read one of my posts about the "A" plan and my new Kubota M9.

I cruised down to my local NH/Case dealer and priced a TN90 4x4 cab tractor with loader and it was 4K more on "A" plan than my M9......I bought the Kubota.

I like NH stuff. All my haying implements are NH with the exception of my gyrorake......The tractor was a disapointment.

Re: I think it\'s getting close.

Well, the Mahindra guy came over last night to evaluate the Kubota. He looked over the property, and figured that anything much bigger than the 2015 would be awkward and possibly dangerous to use in a lot of the places I intend to drive it. He has 2 2015 gears with ags out in places similar to mine and the guys that have them are very pleased. He specifically said the 2615 would tend to get in its own way a lot and he wouldn't get one if it was his place.

That goes along with what I kind of thought and what my FIL figured, too. So the field is narrowed further. I can stop thinking about things like the 2615, JD3xxx or bigger, CNH **29 or 33, or even Agco medium chassis models like the ST34. Basically anything with a rear wheel diameter larger than about 16.5 inches is probably too big.
