After I retired I found that the typical week was 6 Saturdays and a Sunday. All the things I had to do on Saturday now seem to fill 6 days without rest. I force myself to take Sunday off or it would be 7 Saturdays a week!

Retirement means you don't have the week-ends off!It has been twelve years for me;run my "hobby business" at my own speed.More something to meet people and kill time.

The benefit of weekends for a retired guy is the people who work during the week won’t call you because that is their time off.

As I mentioned earlier, I am back to work now...but an interesting thing happened when I retired a few years ago. I spent a lot of money that year on repairs.

Having a tractor, and implements, what I found was, when I was working, since I only had Holidays, Vacations and Weekends to get things done, if something broke, I either just set it aside to fix another day, or I just cobbled it together.

When I retired I had the time to fix more things, and fix them right. So I did. But the "Repair" expenses column had some pretty big numbers.
