Hmmm,
I've been thinking a lot about the width.
My tractor tires are set to an outside width of 69 inches. That's as wide as I could go and still stay inside the 6 foot front bucket.
I have come to the conclusion that for my uses, I don't think covering my tracks when the blade is angled is going to be much of an issue. I'll mostly be working ditches and stuff like that and the blade will be at a sharp angle most of the time anyway.
One thing...
This blade is for working in dirt. We ain't got snow here for the most part. Since I've had a tractor we have had one storm that required any snow to be moved and I just shoved that off to the side with my FEL.
I am now however, strongly considering going with the 8 footer vs the 7 footer.
Decisions, decisions.:confused2:
