I'm still trying to figure out what makes a NH 'awesome" - looked at a TC35, brand spankin new at the dealer with paint peeling off, rusted, dented loader arms... maybe someone took it home for a test and brought it back! What REALLY got me were those cast iron foot pedals that looked like they were made in junior high shop class...:( give me the details, I live for the details. (I do believe Einstien was quoted as saying: "God is in the details")

However, it did ride nice, and the "super steer'" axel was nice.

Are you sure that was a TC35 with SuperSteer? I don't believe you can get that option unless you buy a TC35DA.

As a wise man once said, "God is in the details."

I am sure you are right. The "A" decal must have been either dented, rusted, peeled off, or all three.

Nice detail

:D

All the majors are good. None are perfect. Get whichever one you like and realize the allegiance is more like a sports team than anything more serious.
This reply could end all posts "None are perfect" and all the "majors are good with the emphasis on "majors" What feels right ,How good is "your " dealer and how cheap can you get it ?...This could answer 00's of posts .

Give me Kubota, or give me death.
Make mine orange, please.

That's a Ford ..Always have had bad paint ,Fordsons rusted,000 series rusted and flaked,10 series rusted and faded ,40 series flaked till there was bare metal 60 and 30 series flaked,Genesis flaked and peeled ,Tm's ,Ts's and current flake and peel,That's why JD pile on so much of that obnoxious green paint...Dented loader arms are a reflection of the previous owner not the marque....If only ford gave us a can of blue paint when we bought them (Hence my username) then they would be perfect ?

I am beginning to wonder if you are old enough to even have a tractor.
A few months ago you started out looking at Deere and asking lots of questions. Then all of a sudden Kubota was much better than Deere. Last week it was Mahindra was as good a Kubota and that is what you wanted. Now this week its NH. It is smart to look them all over before you dedice, but you keep acting like you have found the best tractor in the world every week. JC

We are all fickle while being exuberant about anything new....or used for that fact. Sounds like the guys who own a pickup truck, whether it be Dodge/Chevy/Ford/Toyota/Nissan, whatever you own is the best.

Personally, I own a New Holland tractor (TN65) and I'm very happy with it. I guess if I bought an equal to the NH, say a Kubota, Deere, Kioti...whatever, then that would be the best. Hah...come to think of it, whatever beer you drink is the best.

Well, you won't go wrong with the New Holland. Just be happy!!!

I have always heard it was attributed to Ludwig Mies van der Rohe
(b Aachen, 27 March 1886; d Chicago, IL, 17 Aug 1969). German architect, furniture designer and teacher, active also in the USA. With Frank Lloyd Wright, Walter Gropius and Le Corbusier, he was a leading figure in the development of modern architecture. His reputation rests not only on his buildings and projects but also on his rationally based method of architectural education.

Ford paint.

No problem here, we've had as many as 5 at one time, 5000, 7600, 4000, 9700, 8740.

All excellent machines seeing as they were up to 25 years old and getting abused by us.

Better than the JD 2755 that just burned up due to wiring failures in dash.
