Ice chains on a concrete floor.

I started the winter using plywood and scraps of carpet but now I just park the rear tires of my tractor on plywood but drive across the cement. I just make sure to not spin. My tires aren't filling but I have a 1000lb 55 gallon drum (cement filled) on the 3pt hitch. My cement was just poured last summer, it's 4000 psi. So far no marks at all.

in any case, I'd lay down a sheet of osb for thee winter. its 7 bucks a sheet and cheap insurance for the winter.

I have an asphalt driveway so I would have to lay down many sheets of OSB to prevent the chains from damaging everything.

Nah, you don't need many sheets...just two sheets and a willing assistant to continuously recycle the free one to the front of the tractor as you slowly make your way down the driveway...Ha!

I have a B7610 with V-bar chains on the rears and yes, they definitely chew up the concrete garage floor a bit.

I just studded the front tires last night. I'm curious if they will add to the problem, I suspect that they will. I've been thinking about throwing down some plywood but there's always a big puddle under the machine when all the snow melts off the blower.

My V-bars leave little marks everywhere they hit. I put down some scrap OSB to run on in my garage. Regular ladder chains probably won't mark up concrete too bad. I have 2-link ladders on my lawn tractor and that leaves no marks on concrete or asphalt (although it's about an order of magnitude lighter).
