ice cream rant

Broughtons Is the big name in ice cream here .
It's sold and delivered in Ohio and several surrounding states.
I live 1.5 miles on out the road from them;
and i grew up in the neighborhood they are in .

Of course in Texas, Blue Bell is the big name in ice cream and they advertise still having the full half gallon or 2 qts. to the container. But I think Braum's ice cream is hard to beat and they, too, use the 3 pint containers, but 2 of them are $6, so you get 3 qts. for $6. The 2 qt. Blue Bell container is usually $5.98, so the smaller container is a better deal all around here. I bought 2 containers of Braum's vanilla with cherries and pecans yesterday. And the smaller container is easier to hold while you dig the ice cream out with the ice cream spade.:laughing:

To me Blue Bell is the BEST ICE CREAM in the whole world. :licking:
