Very nice work, SHORTS! (Not just one O-ring...2 O-rings!)

Interesting front wheel fenders you have there. I have never seen
these on a tractor. You must drive pretty fast.
JD Has front fenders on some of their X700 garden tractors.

Thanks my friend. I've got the sports model which is super fast :D I haven't seen to many around with fenders. They came with the tractor. Appreciate your kind words guys.

Hey flusher. How does your caps work? Interesting indeed.

Here're a few photos showing the caps on the FEL tube

A wing nut holds the cap in place on the tube

The cap is actually the footpad on one of the support brackets. You can just see the threaded rod below the bracket for the wingnut.

Slick. I appreciate multi-purpose designs like this one.

4SHORTS,

Just pat yourself on the back. I have to ask, is that a work tractor or a show tractor. There is not a speck of dirt on it. Anyway, have fun with your toy, I mean tractor.

Hey flusher thanks for the photo's. Great idea. I really like it. Those supports fold up on the outside of my Kubota so that's why I used the tube for storage. thanks for taking the time to post them pics. Enjoyed seeing them

Thanks J J. The tractor is only two weeks old my friend so that's why it's still clean but to be honest it will never see dirt because it's just for snow clearing. I got a couple of government parking lots to clear for the next three years and there just across the road from me so that's why the new tractor. I figured if these things can plow a field they should be able to push a bit of snow:cool: Thanks for your reply. Much appreciated

4shorts,

I bet a pair of those caps for my kioti, that you will get mud on your tractor at some point - just a matter of time.

My tractor was in for the 50 hour service and dealer asked if he could use it at a local farm exhibition for display - took a couple days out of my schedule but came back washed, waxed, polished and everything that needed to be repainted or touched up completed - looks new again.

Didn't know you guys have coyotes on the island. The sign guy made a typo obviously! :)!

Great fab job - good thing I don't live next door! :)

Lloyd don't even say that! Mud on my tractor. Man I got weak in the knees when I read that:eek:

Wow that was nice of them to do that for you. She looked awesome as she was. Glad that worked out for you that way.

Ya your right about the misspelling. We spell like we speak.:D Do you want a decal for your tractor like that? Would look good on yours as well. Bring over your tractor and we'll make a set of all aluminum caps for you.

Oh man I got to go get some air. Just about passed out thinking about the mud on the tractor:mad:

Stay well friend!

I see you have two buttons on your joystick, and another one on the stick itself. Are they all fuctional? What do they do.

Great looking tractor BTW.

Great looking workmanship! I stumbled upon the same basic solution...just not nearly as sexy. I had a couple PVC pipe compression plugs left over from house construction. The sizes I had on hand just happened to fit the tube between the loader arms (now chain storage tube) and the larger tubes low on the frame mount (pipe wrench and hammer storage). Mine requires a wing nut to be loosened/tightened but, hey, you do what you can with what you got! Wanna trade?
