I've been there, Danny, for lots of years; just hope I don't ever do it again.

Me, too. A pretty lucky dude anyway, although sometimes I'm not so sure about the "much wiser" part. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

IndyDirtFarmer,

The reminds me of an article I saw in the early 80s about McArthur, no not the General but a buisness man in South Florida. He had a small "office" in West Palm Beach. It was a small old house. I had driven by it a couple of times and it reminded me of my granny's house. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

On the other side of the street where tall office buildings. Walk across the road and there was this little rinky dink old house that was his office. He had one secretary. He drove to work in an early 70's station wagon and wore simple casual clothes.

He was a BILLIONARE. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

You really don't know who is next to you at the stop light sometimes. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

So, are you a Billionare? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Later,
Dan

With what? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

We tried the one in Knoxville, and it was awful. I take it they are better in your neck of the woods?

31 years of working like a dog, and I'm gonna have that first mil salted away by years end..... With little hope of adding a "B" to the "illion"....

I usually hit it with a healthy appetite! CHOMP!

The one nearest to home is the "corperate training center" All the managers, kitchen managers, and meat cutters train there. It is top-shelf! Service is great, food is outstanding, and the "experience" as a whole is about as consistantly good as any restaraunt I've ever been in.

And they have the best BBQ ribs I've ever had..... /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Aha! They are building a new one much closer to us than the one we tried and hated. Maybe we will try the new one -- if I can convince my wife. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I would:
1. Set aside funds to build a new fire station here in my town. I volunteered for a few years. The local station desperately needs replacement.
2. Set a living/income fund up
3. Travel
4. Look at a house on a tropical island. We like to dive, but the Northern Calif coast is cold /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

The one in Clarksville is the first one, flagship. The guy that owns them wont change this one to accomodate his crowds. If you are there by 5 you are waiting a good 30 to 45 to eat, but it is the best.

If I am real hungry, country fried steak is me, or the grilled chicken salad

Most of the Texas Roadhouses I have tried are good. I really like a hunk of seared decaying bovine flesh.

With interest rates as low as they are and inflation much higher than officially reported, I would figure you would need at least 5mil to live comfortably if you are in your 30's or 40's ad don't want to eat up too much principal and stil leave a large amount for future generations. With short term muni's only paying around 2.5 to 3% 5mil only gives you $150,000. Nt enough to do any of the things we all WANT to do. That being said, I would be hapy to win $50 /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
