JacknCoke,
Thank you and welcome to the TBN. This 8200 is definatly a DT as art said. I will assume the the DT-2 came in the later years. I will also assume that once I know the year of it I'll know whether it is a DT or a DT-2.

Looks just like my B8200, except mine is HST, has a ROPS, and I added TnT. They are a great, solid tractor. 19hp is a bit on the low side for the size of the tractor, but it is built like a tank!

Any questions, email me. I have owners manual and service manual.

Robert,
Thanks, I believe I will be picking your brain and manuals.
I expect to be picking this tractor up about noon time today and once I get it out into the daylight I will take more pictures of it.
I am assuming that this tractor did or sould have come with a ROPS. I will have to look and see if there are any signs, scratchs, wear marks etc. where it would have been mounted,
I will also look the propertry and buildings over better to see if it isn''t laying around somewhere. If all goes well, I will post ?'s and pictures later this afternoon / evening. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Well it's home, lock, stock and mower.
The mower is a Landpride 2560. It has a little wear and tear, some dings ands dents but I feel with a good cleaning, greasing, sharpening etc it has plenty of life left in it.
Boy is this thing light in the nose with that mower hanging off the back and thats with 165 lbs. of weights hanging off the front.
I see where I believe the ROPS would have been mounted. There are 4 holes in a square pattern on the rear of the rear axle, 4 on each side. The holes still have the factory plastic plugs in them, so I am wondering and assuming that this tractor has never had a ROPS on it.
The lights need repair, the brakes need adjusting or replacement, it needs a new seat and some other cosmetic repairs.

Home and unloaded.
I did some quick looking for the ID tag and aven't found it yet. There is a tag next to your left ankle when your sitting in the seat that gives the engine model and a few other specs, but I haven't seen a seriel #, so I still don't what year it is.

Is it just me, or do the rear tires look a bit larger than normal for that tractor?

Anyhow, congrats on it, I hope it works out well for you.

Hey:

I was over at Center Harbor yesterday with my wife getting quilting material and didn't see you go by.....I would have hauled that to my house if you didn't want to have to find room to store it!
Looks like the deal of the century....good luck with your new machine.

Thanks everybody. Yes it was definatly a "Great Find" as my Dad put it. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif Thats him standing in the picture next to the truck / trailer.

twstanley,
You may well be correct. I haven't a clue as to what size tires shoud be on it. /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Thomas,
Good morning /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Yes, it seems to be in fair condition.
I was / am assuming that this is the way that the exhaust goes /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

sandyc,
I came back through Center Harbor around 2:30 pm.
To be totally honest. I don't have a clue as to What I am going to do with the tractor / mower. At present, I really have no use for a 2nd tractor, I have a fair amount of lawn to mow, but I have a 60" walk behind older Scag that I mow with, so I really don't need it for the mower.
I am seriously thinking of cleaning it up, addressing some of the cosmetic issues, checking the brakes and make sure the tractor is operational and safe, maybe get a ROPS for it.
Then I will probably put it right out for Sale!!
