All right everybody. I am going to be seeking photos of B8200's. As quck as I can find the ID tag I will post the year of the tractor. I have looked on both sides of the chassis, under the operators platform and don't see any tags there. There is the one tag above the platform by the inside of you left ankle while sitting on the tractor. I will take a photo of it once the frost melts off and the coffee kicks in.
I am also seeking info and or a picture of the 8200 dash and steering column area. I will post a photo of mine.
The rubber boot on mine is floating free. It is clean, undamaged. In order to get it back into it's factory emplacement without stretching it out of shape, the steering column needs to come down at least an 1". I am wondering if somebody with longer arms made some kind of adjustment with the column. Any thoughts ?

Mark, Here are a few photos of my old B8200. I sold this tractor for $12k about 3 years ago. Hope this helps, Von

Von,
Thank you !! Yes they do help, especially the one of the manfs. tag. It is of course the same tag that I have on mine.
Is this the tag where I will find the SN ?
There is a number on mine on the top section (english) near the lower right that could be it, but it is not identified as the SN. It is just a 2 part # and I forget how many numbers in total. I have checked this # with a referance book my dad loaned me and it doesn't jive with what the book tells me.
I have just come in from taking several pictures of it and doing some initial cleaning (wiping down). I will post them as soon as I get them into the desktop and reduced.

Von,
I just looked at a close up of your tag and it makes me question my earlier post of the # in ? being at the bottom right of the tag and not up in the english section.
I need to look at mine again. I don't remember. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
I guess the coffee hasn't kicked in yet

The last house I bought had a tractor just like yours in the barn also. However the previous owners wouldn’t just include it in the purchase. If I remember right they wanted another 8-9K for it. It was set up just like yours with only 200hrs but I believe it was 4wd. I wasn’t able to get it. The lack of Rops and low exhaust may be because it was designed for a nursery or orchard. My M9000 (picture included) is the low profile model. It has the foldable Rops and low exhaust. It’s designed for orchard work but it works really well for working inside my poultry barns. A lot of nurseries wouldn’t need 4wd pulling carts and merchandise around.

Good find
Eric

OK, I have reduced several picures and I will post them now. The firt picture is of the Manfs. tag. The # in question is indeed at the bottom right of the tag.
Although my picture is blurrier then I would like the number appears to be 67818-47463. When I go back outside I will double check the number. Is this the SN ? The 67818 doesn't match any of the beginning with #'s in the referance book.

Eric,
Very nice tractor.
You are quite correct in yoor opinion of the Rops and exhaust. The property where this tractor came from was indeed a orchard., inactive now for what appears to be many years. This property sold for approx. $500k +/- so I am not surprised that the tractor was included.

Mark that number is the part number for that I.D> tag. I would look for a number that is stamped into the metal on ether side of that torque tube or along the frame that connects to the side of the engine. It would probably look like B8200D-xxxxxx.
As for the exhaust it mounts to the manifold w/4 bolts that are evenly spaced so you can move it and have it pointed where you want.
Alot of the older kubotas did not come with a rollbar. Kubota has them for a reasonable price because they want you to get one.
