Sorry to hear of your dismay with a Kubota dealer, it does happen from time to time. I can tell you that Kubota has a dealer organization that is supposed to deal with your questions. If you try a different dealer you might find more information on what you need.

I haven't checked all the pages on their site, so it is indeed possible I haven't been to the page with phone numbers yet.
I don't suspect (yet) that getting the ROPS will be a problem., and the more I play with this rare find, the more I like it. /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif So at present, I am not sure if I would even let it go for full market value or at all. But if I were to let it go for a fair deal it would be to a fellow TBN'r. You have 1st dibs. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

All right guys,
I am in need of a picture or two or at least some confirmation on this. Attached and following are a couple of photos of the seat on the B8200. As you can clearly see it is shot, Big Time. I am usure if this is the original seat or not.

As you can see from this picture, the seat pan has been welded. I can't tell if the welding was done as a repair or as a means of attaching the mounting brackets to a new / differant seat. Can any of you with a B8200 (1982 +/-) post me a photo of your seat so I can decifer this minor dilema ?
It also appears, that the place I purchased the replacement seat for my JD (Sooner Sales) is no longer around, at least I can not locate the on the web. The link I had for them takes me to some unknown site that has nothing to do with tractor seats. So other then Northern Tools, I am looking for a plce for replacement seats. I would actually like to replace it with an original Kubota seat. But I suspect the cost will remove that desire quickly.

Nope, the sliding mechanism is still there. You just can't see it. Other then needing a little lubrication it works good.

The replacement seat for the B8200 is a done deal. It happens to be the Very same seat that I bought to replace the one on my Ex. JD. It's not orange and it doesn't say Kubota on it, but it will work great.
