If you could only stock your home bar with 3 types of liquor, what would they be?

And a bottle of Noilly Pratt dry vermouth in the fridge but that doesn't count, right? Oh, and did I mention olives???

Seriously, though, I couldn't do just three. We keep beer on hand. I like a lighter beer, my wife likes a darker beer. Our friends and relatives will drink either as well. We have some rum, some tequila, some whiskey, several kinds of wine... it all depends on the season, the meal, the occasion.... and the company! :laughing:

No offense to anyone...but I've heard that Scotch requires an acquired taste...I could just never figure out why anyone would want to acquire a taste for something that smells like a cross between horse manure and stinking, rotten, dirty socks...!!

You've got to increase your budget to at least $7.50!

Men need beer. Real beer, not some sissy LITE beer!

Women need their wine, but some like White and others Red

And as for spirits. Vodka, (White) Rum and Whisky should suffice.

That would take care of most folks thirst!

The Granite State doesn't consider beer to be liquor; that's why you buy it in the grocery store.

You want liquor, your go to the NH Liquor Store.

Out of the half dozen broad classes of liquor: brandy, gin, rum, tequila, vodka, and whiskey; I'd say that rum, vodka, and whiskey have the greatest variety of mix-ability.

I like most beer but at times can be a bit of a beer snob. I like darker beers but all kinds are nice for a change. The only ones I don't like are the really cheap stuff and the IPA's.

Wine, I like the sweeter stuff, like Zif.

Hard stuff, a good tequilla makes an awesome margarita on the rocks. Jack and Coke is another favorite.

Anything as long as it's not the low end bar liquors that need the flavour hidden with mix.
12yr and up has enough time to smooth and mellow.
