Ignition Switch Problem

Branson 3510 Tractor. Won't start by turning the ignition switch. Does not turn over I get nothing. If I short the selenoid out it will start. Where may I purchase a new switch for it. 2004 Branson 3510 1st problem I have had in 10 years. Thanks for helping.

You may have a wiring problem and not a switch problem.

Thanks for the info. I am going to work on that problem tomorrow. I thought maybe it could be a fuseible link also.

Could be, could also be a safety switch thats engaged somewhere,not letting it start.

Might be the solenoid itself.

Could be- seat switch, clutch switch, out of gear/neutral switch.
Find and check these before buying a new ignition switch.

pto switch can also be a problem in no start situations.
