It was replaced with a 6 banger in the next model series. There's still a few "Kinze" 5020 V-8 Cummins conversions around too. They were probably the best V8 tractor by virtue of the fact that the Cummins V8 was the better choice of engine at that time.

Also found a website that sold/sells a kit to put a Cummins I6 855 series engine.
