3-Point Hitch IH 574 Postion Control Lever

I really feel like a knuckle head right now ... But here is a question that I think is simple but feel I need someone to verify what I am thinking... The Postion Control Lever on my IH 574 will not stay all the way up... immediately slips back to middle range... I'm thinking it needs Hyd fuild, check the tranny fluid and it shows full... so now I'm a bit concerned there is something else wrong .... Any ideas welcomed...

Tighten the nut on the end of the shaft where the lever goes on.

Okay, now I really feel like an idiot... You are so correct! Worked like a champ... I just figured it was something much more complicated...Geez... Thanks so much for taking time to answer such a silly question...
