I believe they all press them from prepainted rolls.

Due to the cost, most guys don't have the mobile formers unless they're doing metal roofs exclusively. Even then, I don't know of anybody that will run panels and not want to install them as well. For a wood shed, I'd use the exposed fastener preformed metal panels you can get from the farm supply stores or ABC.

Fellas -

I am building a 3 sided wood shed 12x16. Simple one direction slant roof. 10 foot high in the front, 8 foot in the back. Now, I'm fairly decent with carpentry but its the brain work of the laying out I suck at. I have limited time and I tend to rush with things and get over zealous with getting things done with the time I have.

Here is my problem and question to start. I roughly laid out my 6 holes for the posts and dug the holes. I set the first post and its in concrete. I want all posts to be 24'' in the ground. Whats the best way to line all posts up off of the first post so the building is square AND to make sure the same amount of post is sticking up out of the ground so my header board can be perfectly notched and leveled? There will be 6 posts (6x6's). 3 in the front and 3 in the back. I got ahead of myself and I know I will have to adjust the holes some.

I know I will have plenty of questions along the way. I hope you guys are willing to help. This will be a learning experience for me as well because this is my first do it myself project of this magnitude.
Sounds like you are levelling the tops to the same height? You could use a clear green garden hose filled with water leaving the last couple feet empty, holding the two ends together the water level will be the same height in each hose. Attach one to the level you want on the first post, carefully carry the end over to the second post and the level will be indicated by the water line in the hose. It is a little tricky, but should be accurate. Freezing water might be a problem, at least today it is -6 C here.

Hey guys, got the metal roof on except the last piece, which needs to be cut length wise. I could have finished but I don't have anything decent to cut the 26ga steel with. Tin snips will be to sloppy. The cut edge will be hanging off the roof so I would like it to look decent. Is there a metal cutting blade I can put on my skil saw ?

What I have used is a plywood cutting blade put on backwards.

I use an old carbide tipped saw blade. Running the normal direction.

Noisy and lots of hot stuff, but does the job.

Go with an old carbide blade or one of the ferrous cutting blades. No sparks, but lots of bits. Wear goggles, and cover up because little metal bits go all over.
I'm running a Diablo D0648F 6-1/2" x 48-Tooth Steel Demon TCG Ferrous Cutting Circular Saw Blade presently on my DeWalt but there are many others out there. I've a bunch of old roofing metal I'm cutting up in Mississippi.

Cut's well but makes a lot of chips.
