Thanks Henro and everyone else, I needed a good laugh and this thread has provided several.

Only reason I wouldn't drill into mine would be that I am too cheap to take the chance on losing money if I ever trade it in! So magnetic lights are the way to go, heck I can shine them wherever I want. And take them off whenever I want in about 2 minutes (gotta cut tie wraps for wires or it would be 2 seconds).

Heck I just thought of another option..........

We could all make our own ROPS and drill, cut, weld whatever we want while we own it........then when we sell it, we put the factory one back on /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I can't believe nobody else has thought of this, we all love to build and modify things so this is the best of both worlds /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

My solution is not to work after dark. No need for lights But I am thinking about installing a stock car seat with head and neck restraints and some additional bars incase I do roll over during the day.

Why not add a bolt on canopy. It will shade your head from the hot sun and keep you dry when working in the rain. The lights front, back or whatever can then be bolted to the canopy structure with absolutely no changes to the ROPS. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

how about how cold the coke can be? i spilled a cold drink on my lap and it darn near froze my ---- off, did not see any warning about being cold /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif will have to call my lawyer!

Mine has a sticker on it that says something about any modification not approved by the manufacturer would void its OSHA certification.

Why would I care if a small town in Wisconson certifies my ROPs or not? I live in Minnesota!

Plus it alrady has holes for lights on the sides and the top. Plus a wiring harness too.

Now I know why I paid so much for the Green tractor.
