It's a 1433H (Hydro), not "V". I don't think you can get a Hydro on the "V" models - just the 8x8 tranny. I looked at the "V" but wanted that Hydro!! Glad I got it, with the rear snow blower and even with the loader it is sooo much easier...

I was checking out the MF's this weekend. I really didn't care for the MF's loader. The Hardy unit looked like a better loader.

That's right. I forgot that you had a hydro. You can only get a 8x8 in a "V", if they haven't changed things again. They have changed so much stuff since the introduction of the 1400. You do have splash shields on your platform don't you?

Hi guys,
Sorry I've been away a while....Gettin' ready for winter up here in the sticks is a chore...

Anyhow, I chose the Hardy loader for the 40 degree rollback at ground level (vs. 17 degree or so on the MF) and the autoleveling feature so I don't dump horse manure on my head..... The Hardy company also stated that they have updated the specs to show 1400lbs lift capacity at the pin. It works very well. We had to dig a hole (unfortunately) today to bury a horse that passed, and the little ol' MF1433 dug a 7-8 foot deep hole 8 feet wide in about 2 hours... Didn't really have time to hire our usual guy, so we gave it a shot and lo & behold.... You do need to ramp into it, but it worked fine.

By the way, we hit 60 hours today!!! Only trouble is a bent 3-point mount (my fault!) we just banged it out.... She has done everything we have asked of her!! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Tony, We had a customer come in about a month ago whose horse died and he was needless to say quite upset. Harold postponed a delivery and sent him an excavator N/C to bury it. I can't imagine MB doing that for a customer!

Just thought I'd mention that I was in your neck of the woods last week. I think it was on Tuesday. The wife and I were driving down Antique Alley and lo and behold, but what do I come across in Northwoods? A MF and AGCO dealership! Any ideas of which one this might be?? /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

I pull in and tell the wife that I want to get a picture of her sitting on a tractor. she says O.K., so we wheel in. As we start walking in toward the showroom (I figure I might as well get the latest brochures, right?), this little fellow comes out and asks if he can help us. I explain what I want to do, and he promptly gives me all of the brochures I ask for. I quickly explain that I'm from Wisconsin, and I doubt that I'd be coming back this way. He says no problem - take as much time as we want. He'll even move a tractor for me to get a pic of.

Yes, you guessed it. It was Wally. See proof attached.

Now before you get all upset that there's no Massey in the pic, you need to understand that the wife spotted the ST45 with a cab sitting there and says she wants her picture taken on that one. O.K. I say, but first you need to sit on one of the "regular" tractors. I was meaning one of the "red" ones, but she picked the ST40 sitting next to the ST45.

So, after she climbs down from the 40, she says she'll get in the 45. Oooooo, she says! This is really nice! When you get your tractor, you should get one like this, with a cab!

Wally comes back out and starts talking some more. In passing, I ask if he knows about TBN. He says sure! He and the guys check it out frequently. In fact, the boss likes to hear commnets from TBN.

BOSS - You've got a GREAT dealership and one heck of a nice salesman in Wally. He truly was one of the most accommodating and pleasant saleman that I've ever met. He knows his stuff, and more importantly, he knows how to deal with people. End of brown nosing

Wally mentioned that he has a customer that recently bought a 1433 who was just in the day before. He's always on TBN, and his name is Tony. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Yikes! I tell Wally that I've "talked" with Tony about his new machine on TBN. After laughing about the coincidence, we thank Wally for his generosity and patience. As we are getting to drive away, I hear a whistle. I stop and look back, and here comes Wally running madly towards us. When he gets alongside, he says he sure is glad his dad taught him how to whistle like that, and then says he'd like us to have these. He then hands us 2 hats from his dealership! I thank him again, and remind to say hello to Tony for me.

Yeah I turned those guys on to TBN as well as most of my customers. I met Wolfman at the dealership but still have yet to meet Tony (guess he's having too much fun on his 1433 /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif)

You guys rule. We had a horse put down the other day, not a pleasant situation emotionally. This was a recent rescue who was abused severely, just didn't make it... The Massey did that job, no time for a rental, just ramp into it for a couple hours.

Thanks for being there for that guy, we all appreciate that kind of thoughtfulness.

Stvman, I am having WAY too much fun! We just hit 80 hours on that little jewel... not bad for 7-8 weeks... She kicks butt! I'll be sure to ask if you are there next time I go in for pins! Our snowblower is in at the dealer and we need a checkup, so you'll at least see the 1433, although I won't be on it! /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Glad to hear that machine is working out /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I think the last time we spoke you were still shopping. A good dealer is really the key. The 1433 was one of the first tractors I looked at when shopping. Sadly though all the dealers in my area only have the 1433V. I really wanted the Hydro and I was still so new I did not want to order anything with out driveing it first. It looks like you have a great place and home to play, err i mean work with it as well. GolfGar, My wife did that oooooo thing when she first went in a class A Airstream with a Diesel pusher. When the salesman told her the price she said ooooooo again. Then shes asked me if we could get one, of course I responded dont ask me your the CFO to which she replied, well if you made as much as I do we could !
