Marvin (Retired Army that delivers for Barlows) told me yesterday that he just returned from Ct and week before that he was delivering in Vt.

why yes he did just return from CT...bringing my my new tractor Even with shipping it was a better deal than could be had in my region.

I would also look on craigslist...I only know about the B series as its what I was looking for, but I feel like I saw some good deals listed on wisconsin craigslist sites recently...

The only time I was tractor shopping I found it near impossible to get prices on Deere... was always told the sales guys were too busy and they would have to order if I wanted something.

Started reading about Kubota and just no local Dealers... widened my net and found a Dealer that was no nonsense... it also helped that I knew exactly what I wanted and could say yes or no on the spot...

Funny thing is when I wanted to buy a post hole digger I went to the nearest Dealer about 60 miles away and also the one that was the highest price wise... told me to my face they did not have anything to sell me and I should go back to where I bought my tractor... never been back since and fortunate in 11 years of ownership have not needed too.

I do order whatever service items I need from Messicks without worry and in a few days it's on my doorstep.

I was pricing out Kubotas this summer, called Barlows and it opened my eyes. They smoked the local dealers around me. I ended up finding a used BX2350 for a great deal or I would have purchased from Barlows. Even if you don't purchase from Barlows it gives you a base line. I recently serviced my Kubota and had no problem getting parts help and advice from my local dealer's parts desk. They were glad to have my business wether I purchased my tractor from them or not. Chance of having problems with a new one are slim to none and servicing them is easy. If you do need work done out of warranty I don't see any dealer cutting you a big break. You gotta pay to play.
