Bird you just might be right there.I'm going to give the dealer a call in the AM and see what he says.
Mike,

He is correct .... my Dodge RAM 3500 SRW will only haul around 12,000 or 13,000 lbs... and that's with a Class IV hitch.

I've hauled around that amount (mini-ex and trailer) ...... it's alot ..... I can't imagine hauling 8500 lbs behind the Highlander ..... that's probably 2x it's weight.

Of course you don't have to carry a week's worth of inventory .... only one day's worth .... since you can reload it every night.

You guys are of course right, I called the Toyota dealer and they set me straight. Said I shouldn't expect to pull more than 3000 pounds total. Most of the enclosed trailers I've seen are 1300-1500 pounds curb weight. So if the trailer becomes a reality I'll need to watch the weight of the shelfing. And carry the most popular items for restocking the store as items sell.

I'll give another vote for Wells Cargo. My Dad had a 21' Wells Cargo trailer. Excellent quality. Torsion axles, LED tail/brake lamps, etc.

If you get one 12' or longer, I have a pair of nice, light weight aluminum shelves I can hook ya up with at a very good price. :D

Shelves? Maybe I should just purchase your new Sprinter and our problems would both be solved. ;)

Another vote for Wells Cargo. My employee,s pull one 50-100 miles a day, 5 days a week, and the only thing we ever replace is tires.
