I'm about ready to get one for my 4010. Yesterday, I didn't tighten the turnbuckles good after putting the LX4 one. It swung sideways on my trail and rubbed against a tire. No damage, but if it did, that would pay for an iMatch very quickly! With iMatch on, you could just snug up the turnbuckles and leave them tight. To me, they're about the biggest nuisance of attaching and detaching stuff.

I use a chain in place of the top link, but switching to it before or after connecting the LX4 would be no problem. Everything else would use the top link.

I'm wondering whether the iMatch restricts access to putting the PTO on and off? One mistake I made yesterday was not ensuring the PTO was clicked in place. It later slipped off and gouged some paint from the inside of one of the rear tire rims.

RalphVA; Imatch does obscure your view and reach of the PTO. However I can reach under and through the back of the "n" shaped Imatch. It's really only a very minor inconvenience considering the convenience of "hook and lift" attachment.. I can "hook and lift" my tiller and attach the PTO while the arms are raised up high and I can reach under better. (do NOT place any body parts under anything that can drop on you if for some reason the lift should drop while youre down there, use a stand for safety) It might be less of a problem since your 4010 has more ground clearance to begin with.

I can't imagine not having the iMatch. It only takes a minute to change implements. I use mine for tiller, ballast box, rear blade and landscape rake. Now if I could just find an iMatch compatable seeder/spreader I'd be a very happy camper. I also have a hitch adapter for the iMatch from Mad River Products so I can easily tow anything with a ball hitch from the iMatch ! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I don't see any downside to the iMatch.

Since I'm tired of fighting with my box blade and getting my box kicked, I might be interested in getting one of these. So how much are these things typically from a Dealer ? (I wanted to try out the font color dohicky).

Thanks,

Kurt

Horseman1 - they're about $200. TSC & Speeco sell them also and I believe the critical measurements are the same; the prices might be less.

Thanks Norm,

$200 aint bad for something with that green paint. Can you believe we dont have TSC in Colorado? I told Mrs horseman yesterday "I want one of them tractor stores here so bad I'm about ready to run one myself". She reminded me what a retail store takes to run, so I guess I'll drop by one in Nebraska on the next trip east /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif.

Our first TSC in the area - the only one I've ever seen actually - just opened a few weeks ago. They have everything, if you know exactly what you need and how it all works together it's a handy place. The staff is very pleasant, just not knowledgeable beyond the part number & price. It's still fun to go poke around...

I put the chain on the rotary cutter in place of the two steel straps, and accomplish the same effect as when using the chain in place of the top link. Might work for you.

I have the iMatch for my 4410 -- it's great. Does anyone know if the same iMatch works on the 2210?
