iMatch Mismatch

They did include mine with the purchase after I brought it to thier attention..My guess is your dealer will do the same..They should anyways..It isnt a attachment if it wont fit..Right?

Oh, I have also found that 460 lbs of ballest is almost more than the 2210 wants to carry..It seems to creep down with that much weight sticking out the back. I could hear it creeking while I shut the tractor off..They rate it at 700 lbs at the end of the lift arms(I believe) so the added length out in the ballast box must be about 350-400 lbs..I removed some wieight and it seemed to work better..Been using old disc brake rotors for ballast and weighing on the Grain elevator scales..

OK, I went out and took a photo.

With my 4110 and iMatch and ballast box I got the things in the picture. The two thick bushings on the left came attached to the iMatch with a tie. The rest came in a black sealed bag marked "bushings". The only reason I got the extra bushings was that a mechanic happened to be there when I picked up my iMatch and he said I couldn't use the ballast bow without out that kit, so they gave me the kit.

The two groupings of three items on the right are, I believe the Cat 1 to Cat 3 bushings for the side pins. I guess the little bent metal tubes are to afix the bushings to the pins if you want to. I guess I would get some removable pins instead. (thanks for the photo, they make sense to me now.)

The next two bushings (going right to left are concentric (one fits inside the other) and I guess they fit over the top pin to make it cat 2 to fit the iMatch.

I don't know what the other two are for, but they are cat 1 to cat 3 bushings and will work some some implement I do not have that presumably has captured cat 1 pins.

The ones with the roll pins are what I need..I have the spacers on mine now and just been using it like that without the lock pins-keepers..

You have that figured out, at least as much as I have it figured out. There are combinations in the kit for more than just one tractor. And maybe one attachment, as you suggest.

Pssssst. (Now if we can sweet-talk JDdude to downsize that schematic attachment, this thread will be much easier to read). /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

I had a similar problem. I did not get any bushings with my iMatch system. I went to the closest dealer from my house, and they did not seem to know what I was talking about. That did not suprise me any. Just another reason why I did not buy from them in the first place. I then went to the dealer I bought the tractor from. They looked up the part and I had what I wanted in no time. I can't remember what John Deere wants for a set of them, but you can get them from Tractor Supply Co. for much cheaper. They are in the hitch pin section at my local store.

Kevin : You are correct. The bushings to make it all work should be included when you take delivery and in the price that you paid. You deserve them just because they have inconvenienced you in this fashion. Mine came with the Box but I had to install them. Good luck

I have the same problem. I got my 2210 & weight box Thursday & I had to pick up the Imatch friday because they had to get it from one of there other stores. I did not find out until Sunday morning that it would not work.
Why dosen,t John Deere just make the weight box 2 1/2" wider?
That would just be to simple.

I just wanted to thank everyone for the replies, especially Cliff_Johns. I spoke to the dealer and they weren't aware that such a kit existed. After emailing them the pictures which were posted in this thread, they emailed them to Deere. Deere told them the part number and the dealer then had to order 8 kits because several customers needed them.
TBN has come through again !

Glad it worked out -- and that you could help all those other owners by educating the dealer. This kit seems to be an obscure bit of trivia. Digital cameras are a great invention.
