I'd leave the sizes u had started w/.
I ran a 74" Bushhog tiller on a L2900 Kubota and the 35D plays w/ it. (yes we have clay w/ rocks).
I ran the 6' KK box blade behind the Kubota too but I also ran a 1000+ 10' box blade behind it too.
The 35D has no trouble w/ them.
Same w/ 6' brushhog.
F-I-L has a Landpride 3584 I might try on the 35D sometime.
U also have Hydro so u can slow down in tough spots.
Also the 2 speed cruise control is great.
