Importing a Personal Use Tractor

We will be in 7 days' National Day holiday from Oct 1st to 7th.

But I heard Benye tractor plant will only have 3 days' holiday.

Because they are fully engaged in the domestic purchase order production.

And they will move to a new bigger factory site in the coming month.

Thank you for your comments in numerical order.

1) I’m told my tractor left the port and that the shippers will contact me via fax.

I be here, my money be there, Hubei the shippers I wonder!!!

2) Thank you, but I have read the Hubei FAQ page and the bit about delivery etc. This partly led me to parting with my money in the first place. They say 45 – 55 days.

3) "busiest season" If it was the monsoon season and they gave that as reason for the delay that would be acceptable. I feel a bit like a mushroom, kept in the dark and fed bull ****.

4) "Benye", yes.

5) EPA, what the hell is that I wonder and does it affect Andy living in Spain waiting patiently (thanks to the responses received via this forum) for his tractor?

Andy, please take the time & fill out the profile. It may help you get better assistance. I, thought spain was part of your name, I didn't realize it was where you lived. I'm betting many here thought you were in the states, hence the info about the Enviromental Protection Agency (EPA).

Hi Bluechip. "another agent" You know the employees by name? Perhaps Hu Qin is new at Hubei, that would explain a lot. I'm still waiting for a BILL OF LOADING, until I get a copy of that I have to except her word that my tractor is now bobbing about the ocean. If it is why aren't they asking for the rest of the money?

Andy, he goes by Andy, AKA Yan Jun. I have not delt with him but have emailed back and forth with him. He has posted on here quite a bit recently. It is a big company, he may or may not know your agent.

Bluechip, thanks for the reply, but I must confess to be a bit lost!
Is this correct: A guy using the name Andy to post messages on this forum was christened Yan Jun and he's the Hubei employee you know or have emailed in the past?
Could this be same Andy with the red logo? When you refer to the possibility of Andy knowing my agent you mean Hu Qin (export agent), not the shipping agent, correct? Thank you for being patent with me. All the best Andyspain

It's arrived and I must say I'm delighted withthe 284. Started putting it together today. Two things missing though. The hydraulic pump for the backhoe and the under tractor exhaust muffler. I phoned Martin at Jinma UK about the pump and he told me it should have come packed inside the hoe bucket. I'm hoping Hubei will get this to me quickly. Must say the new hood (fiberglass) is the business. Thanks all.
