Running a tandem disc with the rear gangs too low will tend to leave a ridge of soil behind the center of the disc while running with the rear gangs too high will result in the front gangs throwing up nasty ridges on each side of the machine which the rear gangs are not able to level out.
That helps explain an issue I'm having with ridges on the sides. I'll readjust the rear and see if I can correct. THANKS!

Looks like you're running a fairly fast ground speed as the front gangs appear to throwing the dirt out a ways. Not necessarily a bad thing, just saying.
The furrows are okay when tilling with the contour of the land but leave the potential for soil erosion from a heavy rain or snow runoff if tilling up and down hills.

You are correct on running fast. It is still a little wet. I don't have scrapers, so I went up a gear and keep it slinging. I have to run contours as my land rolls, rain has been plentiful over the last few months.

Please send your excess rain up to Kansas. We need it!
