In trouble again.....

Moving some gravel into raised self wicking garden beds and made a bit of a mess while turning so decided to level the ground a bit with the harrows that were still on.
Love of my life gets home and wants to know what happened to the oregano and dill.
I saw them but just thought they were weeds, at present subject to a dose of silent treatment, could be the couch tonight.

My friend, that has happened to me so many times. My wife plants stuff and I run over it or dig it up or cut it down.

I never understood the silent treatment. I can sit in silence for a LONG time before I even realize anything is happening. :laughing:

My issues have been with the bush hog. She'll plant something and put a few sticks around it to mark it. I'm out mowing and it looks like something the wind blew down to me. Gonzo!

I threw a whole pile of overly soft tomatoes into the back yard for the critters. She asked where all the persimmons for the bread she was going to make went........FML!

I never understood the silent treatment.

I do, it is like a sealed container slowly boiling and building up pressure then suddenly without warning...... BANG, only when you are in close proximity of course.
This can be negated by a box of something sweet, an expensive piece of jewellery depending upon the depth of poo you are in, if you are financially disadvantaged something that prevents permanent scarring may be called for although you wonder if delicate parts of the male anatomy may be compromised.
Regardless a period of celibacy is mandatory.

Hey, If I had a nickle for every "weed" I dug up or sprayed or cut off flush, and PO'ed the wife... well, lets just say I would certainly have a pocketful of nickels. I try very hard not to do this, and usually ask, but hey "stuff" happens.

Said I lied to her the other night. I told her that my failure to correct her wrong assumption was in no way a lie. Just good sense.

Had a cousin who told his wife the blight was killing all her plantings. He was spraying them with Roundup so he didnt have to mow around them. I remember the day she caught him applying the blight.

I HATE weeding. When we had a big garden I always planted the rows of whatever wide apart.. That way I could do the majority of the weeding with the Troy Bilt Horse - right down the row between the plantings. Every so often it would go wild and there would be a "whoops". Never been very successful at replanting young carrots and getting them to stand up straight again.

I bought a brand new 10'finish mower to knock out 6acres of burmuda (and weeds) with trees. She said it scalped her "LAWN".Had to sell it!
