You have snow monsters in Massachusetts, don't you? We don't get much snow, but when we do they run rampant. I think they come in from Massachusetts.

I am no longer allowed to mow around *HER* areas....
Had to buy her her OWN lawn tractor & self propelled hand mower.
(Which I get to start & maintain but not operate.)

I think my wife is finally starting to get to understanding that, if she plants flowers or ornamental bushes in the middle of the dang yard with no protection around them, they might get mowed. Especially after the dog and boy have trampled them already, then its time to mow and move on.

Back when I was a young gaffer, my Dad had planted a maple tree outside my bedroom window. Every time I mowed the lawn I cut the thing off at the 2" mark. We had sold the place (1973) and I went back about 10 years ago just to see the changes in the old neighbourhood. That maple was MASSIVE!

For Valentines day last year I bought her a new weed sprayer and a gal. of Round up. Told her to spray a 3ft perimeter around anything she didn't want mowed. She asked me if I could show her how to operate the backhoe and if my burial insurance was up to date.

Well, not one to spell out the obvious, but depending on your instructional qualifications, she would either need the backhoe, or the burial insurance....
