sound guy you ran into the right guy iam a welder down in the great state of texas i love welding you just need to go get an old welder for cheap they last forever and most of the time you can find the part you need it if breaks at your local welding store i know guys with welders from the 60's on there rigs and they work better then some new onces but iam a lincoln man so if you want a new one i would go with a lincoln ac-225 its got 225a at 25v with 20% duty cycle or a ac/dc 225/125 if you want to weld dc and if you want a little more go with an idealarc 250 . for millers and hobart there the same so go with the cheaper one miller makes a thunderbolt xl 225 ac but i would go with lincoln for a better arc hope i helped out in anyway an if you ever get a real welder get a lincoln they have all copper windings and my new one has a sweet arc peace out and take it easy for me i will do the same for you /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
