The first ford perkins dexta started in england and exported from 1958-1964.When a older dexta is rebuilt it is with many super dexta parts.I own 2 dexta's and 1 super dexta.I highly recomend them as they are simple and dependabile.they are simular to the massey fergison with the 3cyl deisel. The 130 maybe? The most important task is to use the proper starting procedure.You must have a working pre heater on the intake and use a squirt of deisel to preheat. a heater in the lower rad hose works very well too. Many parts from the ford 600 work on dexta's,such as the dual stage clutch,spin out rims or reg rims. front wheels.the starter.it is a clumsey but fun tractor.3 speed trans low and high 6 all together.amazing pulling power. very easy on fuel. you may be able to get the one you are looking at for less than 1000.00.
