Yup, as I stated in the earlier post, they are out of business... I believe the outsides where 1/2", and the the inside tines are 3/8"

Search for posts from member "islandtractor" and "millonzi" to see what he has done with his...I don't think sturdiness is a problem with their design.

Thank you for the information, we are working on that right now! We can build one 48" wide, it will be a single grapple, and need to be thinner material, the only problem with that is we don't like building any attachment "skimpy" because if it breaks it'll be on us, and we have a great reputation for the quality of our attachments. Let me know what you guys think about this, we build for a JD 400 or 500 series tractor already, and of course skid steer universal which is becoming more and more common on tractors. We need your imput on a new market.

I would like one for my CK35 Kioti, but I don't have the skid steer set up. The bucket does un-pin easily, but for me it would be a pain to have to buy a skid steer attatchment to swap back and forth anytime I wanted to use the grapple.

So would you please make one to fit the Kioti KL130 loader ? And 48" would be my choice.

Thanks

I think there's a great market for the 48 grapple, now that millonzi is gone. My 48 millonzi has bent a little, but not a lot, and it didn't do it at all on the B3030 = m59 overpowers it, no surprise.

I'm not sure you want to get into matching everyone's non QA pins, thats up to you, but millonzis issues were with that. If deere is pretty standard across its line, I'd guess that one would be good.

Hello guys,
First of all we would like to thank each and every one of you for standing behind us in our slow times and our fast.
In recent weeks we have had some pretty major yoohaa haa (badword) days here at Markham. So i thought i would explain a few things here instead of having everyone calling and me repeating the same response.
We average orders of 25 or more tooth bars to build at a time. Sometimes more sometimes less. We specialize in Skid steer attachments, Rakes, buckets, hitches, tree booms, grubbers, etc. & tooth bars. When we started Markham in 2002 we never dreamed that our bars would become so popular, for this we thank you guys again. We order teeth on a blanket once a year, we base those orders on what we sold in that month the year before and usually order a little more then that, but not too many, because we are a small family owned business that refuses to go out on a limb too far for fear of breaking the limb and or a leg or two.
We build and ship the bars in the order in which they come in, and can only ship 5 a day through UPS because of the damage these bad boys can cause other freight and not to mention their weight. But on occassion we do have to put tooth bars on hold for different reasons, one we have to fill the orders of the bigger attachments, two- we run out of teeth- three we run out of cutting edge- four- we run out of time. I know you guys have been very patient with us and the problems we have faced this summer, and believe me it has been horrible, steel prices for one- they tried to go up 150.00 a stick on the cutting edge, which would mean tooth bars would also have to go up, almost double to justify even building them. Then we changed the teeth, because we had such a demand for a casted tooth, and that took time, then in between all the pricing drama and changes we would run out of something, then where the steel had gone up, bigger companies had went on a buying frenzy at the old prices which left the small business owners kinda winging it til more could be produced.
To make a long story longer I promise tooth bar teeth are now in stock, cutting edge is now in stock, we are building them up and shipping them back out starting Friday. I have had a couple people cancel their orders and this is fine we understand. This is the main reason why we do not run the cards until we are sure we won't run out of anything and will be able to ship. But in our defense alot of the hold ups have been me fighting with steel companies and freight so that you wouldn't have to pay more either in fuel surcharges or steel increases.
It is also more important for you to understand we are not ignoring you or your calls, we have windstream which is based in india i think, at least that is who answers the phone when we report a problem. It's crazy. Sometimes I run the burning machine or help Allen in the shop and rely on the message center to give messages, another mistake i seem to have made lately.

Anyway hold onto your pants and get ready to dig because by the end of next week you should have gotten a call from me to let you know when to expect your bar.

And again we want to thank all you guys for your comments and your loyalty! And by all means if you have any questions at all over any of our products visit us at Markham Welding - Home, i will be more than happy to help to the very best of my abilities.
Hapy digging, Melissa Markham

Hello Melissa, I am also an owner of one of your tooth bars (Kubota BX24). It is a fantastic addition to my tractor and I've used it a ton since receiving it this past Spring! Your letter to the general buying public on TBN is a great example of your dedication to us and is greatly appreciated! Thanks for a great product! Attached are pics of my toothbar freshly mounted...;o)

Hi Melissa:

I have a Markham toothbar and I finally got to use it a few weeks back. Quite a big and positive difference over using just the bucket's cutting edge.

Sorry to hear our good friends(?) in India have let you down. In the past month, I've dealt with Indian tech support via email and the phone for three separate unrelated issues. Each time, the experience was awful. When I dealt with an American, the problem was solved right away or within two days, which was FedEx shipping time.

Keep up the good work!

Melissa:

I would buy a Millionzi type grapple tomorrow if it were available. I was ready to buy from them based on all the feedback in this forum. The combination of the width (48 inch) and the weight (@ 300 lbs) was the best combination. Please let me know if you decide to manufacture a similar product. Another plus from feedback in this forum were the slightly curved lower tines.

I have the Markham bar as well, and love it. Tried to support my local dealer and got a Tisco on my hoe.............. Wish I had bought a Markham for that too. Lets see, I also have the Pallet forks, and stump bucket too.

I go round and round about the grapple etc. for the front of my little tractor, the problem is, I have so little lift capacity (about a thousand pounds) that when you start hanging the quick tach etc. out front, you just run out of lift.

Wonder if you could do some angles with multiple punched holes so the attachment would fit several manufacturers loaders.

If you could fit say NH 7308 (I think that is my number) loader as well as say the comparable Deere, and Kubota loaders, I think you would have a winner.

I would swap out my pins for some handled pins, and hitch pins on the back side and while not nearly as easy as a quick tach, would not be too bad to swap between implements on the front.

Have a Markham myself. Being a small business owner in the U.S. I recognize it ain't easy to make a buck.

No offense to TBN members who may be more globalist in their thinking, I enjoy sending my money to an American company, especially one family owned. And no offense to TBN members who live north of the Mason Dixon, I enjoy sending my money to Southerners.

Keep up the good work you all.
