that tractor is the same a ford 3000, 3600 models so the service manuals for them will work for everything but the front end that is the only deferince

Almost. 3550's have planetary final drives and internal wet brakes as a 4000 would. But a decent manual will include both rear axle styles.

ur right but have the 3000 size motor is was thinking about a 3500 but like u said a good serive manual will cover both of them and u can get a service manual off the nh website that will be where to get the one that will be most detailed

I kind of have same questions about a 3550 I just got. Mine does have a pto (shaft is bent and looking for a new one)

My numbers are: tractor C376195
Model K5012K unit 3D11B
Engine 3C09A
Trans 3A03C

Any help decoding is appreciated as well as possible sources for a pto shaft
