Fuel Injection Cleaner for Tractors? What do you guys use and how often?
smtonypoint... thanks, much appreciated.I use Power Services in the gray bottle (DIESEL KLEENョ +Cetane Boostョ: Max HP Formula ? use during non-winter months for the ultimate in performance.) in warmer weather.

I worked on Class eights that had over a million miles on them never had an injector problem. In the last ten years, the only fuel system problem that I ever saw wasfrom people using the wrong filters, or the improper filters on a system contaminated with water.
The myth that the newer fuel has less lubricity is 100% BS, there are additives added. If removing the sulfur was so bad, then adding a few rocks to you tank should work.
Removing the sulphur cut down on the valves burnt, turbo,s damaged, liners scored, nothing else. Big companies do not add anything to the fuel.
that post is rife with small but important technical errors....
From http://rivrdog.typepad.com/files/copy-of-diesel-fuel-additive-version-3.pdfpull a UOa before using Power S and after Power S...I will never use it again...watch your wear spike using it..using MMO or 131 is way better. But ha, you cannot but (1) at walfart.
10) Power Service Diesel Kleen + Cetane Boost
Multi-purpose
Cetane improver, bio-diesel compatible, alcohol free
HFRR 575, 61 micron improvement
400:1 ratio
8.32 oz/tank
$1.58/tank
17) Marvel Mystery Oil
Gas, Oil and Diesel fuel additive (NOT ULSD compliant, may damage 2007 and newer systems)
HFRR 678, 42 microns worse than baseline fuel.
320:1 ratio 0.4 oz/tank
$3.22/tank
Only thing I use is Howse in the winter.
