They all say they do but i've tried them on VW idi diesel's the amount of carbon on and in the injectors seems not to change i took a set apart at X miles and noted amount of carbon cleaned them then used a product X and didn't do anything.
Some say they work some don't i my self use is Power service Lucas fuel and Rotella DFA.. they all have good reviews.
My hino e2004 i added some lucas too and it still smokes same as usual i think the idi diesel's tend to smoke that seems to be there nature i've never seen one not smoke. That includes a long list of tractors.. I just turn my stack to the left and carry on.. You might want to check the DFA thread on the oil/lube with miller reviewing DFA i think that product is the more rounded product. Though it's the only product you can actualy see what it's made of, Powerservice and lucas it's trade secret's
