Injector pump timing

I'm looking for any input on setting injector pump timing on a 2006 Kioti ck 25 . its getting harder to start and runs rough for the first couple minutes after starting. Also a lot of black smoke. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, Len

Do you have reason the think the timing is off? Has the pump been off? Unless you have reason to believe the timing has changed from the factory setting I’d look elsewhere for a problem.
