Injector pump

Hi all new guy
I have a shibaura SD1800 tractor and the injector pump is knackered, so can anyone tell me where i can get a replacement pump ,
Or does anyone have a second hand one for sale in working order?, or tell me where i can get a reconditioned one
Also anyone know for certain what other models have the same injector pump
Realy appreciate any help anyone can give me

I just rebuilt 1 last week.. with new everything.. for 310.00.. Southern Global must dip theirs in gold.?? lol

I`ve got a `one man band` guy here in Boston England who does pumps and injectors. But I`m sure you must have one local, they are about but sometimes take a bit of finding.

The pump I've got has been checked out by a pump guy at this end and he said beyond servicing
Was left idle while full of gunk and water so needs replacing.would be happy with working second hand one or re built one
If anyone can help

Ireland is small so was able to look here by climbing a tall tree
And from what I can see I am the only one over here with a sd1800 :hissyfit:

I was going by ALLDODGE's picture when I said that about my rebuild..
I'm not sure what yours looks like.?? Any way for u to snap a pic or get any #'s off the pump.??
Theres no such thing as NOT REBUILDABLE.. it may not be "cost effective"..
How about shipping your pump over, once we figure out what it is{Zexel} & then we can use your NY contact..
IF its what I think it is.. look at the base of the pump, left or right of the inlet bolt.. there should be a set of 5 #'s..
U might have to get the paint off first..

I figured out what it is.. its a Diesel Kiki INLINE 2 cylinder..
They ARE re-buildable.. unless the main pump housing is broken..

The pump# is>>KIKI>104302-6071
I just looked up the main pumping parts & they ARE available..

The guy that dismantled the pump said that some of the component were seezed into the pump
Steeped the pump for a few days and still seemed to have problems said something about element's in the pump
He said if it had been on the bottom of the ocean for 2 years it could not be as bad he could not figure out how it got so bad
He reckons due to the fact that the fuel supply pipe had been pulled off and left for several months while the tractor was left outdoors and everyone knows, it rains for one day out of every three here thats why its so green here, so moisture and possible water into pump, and there must have been a issue with the fuel filter because the pump was full of gunk.
From what I can see there was nothing to filter the diesel between the tank and the pump ,
He works on pumps and engine's (skimming heads and 're bores all that kind of work )
So would say he did what he could for me he worked on it for 5 hours in total free of charge as he was successful .
I will get the pump and put up some numbers and pictures ( He seems to think it is a Bosch pump)

If anyone out there has a shibaura sd1800 I would appreciate it if they could put up a picture of the pump as I would imagine they would all have the same pump or a shibaura sd1840 I think they were fitted with the same pump

Also anyone know of what we call a breakers business where I might get a second hand pump that would be serviceable s

At the moment I would say you are right with your pridictions :thumbsup:
It is a kiki pump 2 cylinder the assembly number on the pump is 4302-607
I will put up some picture's shortly
Do you think you will be able to locate one ?

Sent some pictures of components of pump you might be able to see the rust
The piston that I have my finger against is stuck solid as is the other he said it also has damage to the cogs on the rack
You may not be able to see in photos

What does the cam shaft look like?? are the lobes still there?
I've seen & rebuilt worse.. All u need are 2-plunger & barrels, 2-delivery valves & a couple of segment.. & maybe some dv holders.
& a good sand blaster..Nuthin to it.. all it takes is money..

The cam shaft looks ok it's the upper part of the pump is seased, barrels and plunger stuck solid also another small piece snapped it looks like it was at the bottom of the plunger it has 2 little wings on it there snapped off can you get all the parts for a 're build provided you can get the broken part I would say it snapped when he was trying to take out the plumber?
But in saying all that
May be nothing to it if it was possible to hand it to you, unfortunately my arms are not long enough :chimpanzee:
And if I were to send it to you the shipping would cost more than the repairs
So would probably do better locating a good second hand one,, or a rebuild one
Can you locate one ? Or supply all the parts I need ?

I have been looking for a "core" pump but cant seem to find 1..
How about we take this conversation to our home emails..
