A dump trailer seems ideal, but an old manure sprayer should work well. They usually have a slow, really slow, apron chain that pushes everything to the back. Some have a hydraulic rear gate (“wall” -that holds the soupy stuff in) is that can usually be hydraulically raised or lowered so that material fed by the apron chains can reach the spinning beater on the rear that flings it. You can slow the feed rate some by not lifting gate all the way up. To increase feed rate, you’re limited by how fast over 540 rpm you want to spin it.
You don’t really need the gate or the beater, but it won’t hurt f you leave them on and “spread” your straw and manure to the pile from a stationary spot. It’ll take a few minutes for the apron chain to empty it; versus using a dump trailer that can empty almost instantly.
When side racks need to get higher for volume, are there any side hills where a wall can be built so the $#*¥ hauler can be parked under it and tractor can load from on top?

Ah yes...the Trebushart :D

I don't think you are going to find the combination you want, directly, especially if you want it under 200 lbs (which seems impossible to me). But you could hybridize and have an alum bed/tub made for a tilt frame/dump trailer perhaps. Or an Alum/plastic tub and make a tilting frame for that compact running gear. You are probably going to have to go custom to some degree.

It doesn稚 need to weight less than 200lbs. That痴 the typical daily load it will be required to haul.

I still think you could just make a large bin using treated plywood 8 feet wide, 4 feet width, with sides on it as high or low as you want and it will hold way more than 200 pounds. You just attach a chain to the 4 corners so you can lift it easily with your FEL and move it to the dump where you can roll it over as you let it down. $100 could build it and if it rots out in 5 years build another one. Why spend thousands to do what $100 can do?

All true... and a bin (or modified pallet) is low-to-the-ground, making less effort to fork/deposit the muck into it. It can be left at the stable area without taking up too much room. The FEL can easily tip the bin out, as long as it's been attached to the FEL/forklift/bale-spike attachment.

YAY! I can upload a photo!!!

When we move I plan on using an IBC with the top cut off, the gal frame/cage also allows it to be picked up with pallet forks, 1000 lt capacity.

I like that oil tank based mega-bucket Moss dug up.

Regarding tying up the tractor with a specialized bucket, think about using it on the 3PH instead of the loader. Loaded and sitting flat, the top link could be disconnected to allow quite a bit of tilt by raising the lower arms.

Extra points for getting two buckets out of one oil tank!

I have a horse boarding business with about 80 stalls that get cleaned daily. When we took over the business a few years ago their method was wheelbarrow up a ramp plopping it on an ancient heavy duty double axel stake bed trailer. At the end of the day they would tractor it down to the manure piles, remove the sides, hay fork it off by hand, then use a snow shovel for the last bit.

My first improvement on this when we got a tractor with a front loader was to use the bucket to push and scrape off the trailer. It went through the OSB decking faster but I only had to replace it every 10 months or so at a cost of maybe $40, still better than having to hand shovel that s*** off the trailer every day!

Now I have a dumping carry all on the 3pt and a pallet-fork mounted wood bucket up front. They were mostly meant to be prototypes - I'd like to order a SSQA plate blank and weld up a big steel bucket, maybe lined with replaceable plywood to deal with the corrosive manure. The dumping carryall I made too small to start out with, hence the wooden outer shell. I was initially worried that the 3 point couldnt lift enough but it's proven surprisingly beefy.

Unfortunately, it takes three trips down to the manure piles, also about 1/2 a mile like the OP, compared to the one big 7x11 trailer we were previously using. Our employees seem to like it better though. Definitely keeping an eye on this thread for more ideas!

edit: when it's raining and everything weighs a whole lot more volume is not the limiting factor anymore! I'd say luckily we're in SoCal and that doesn't happen much but the last winter was much more rain than expected.

I decided to go with the SureTrac 4.5x8' utility trailer.

It is hydraulic, very light (940lbs), low deck (about 24") with low sides (12"), 2K payload. Easy enough for my wife to quickly attach and detach. Have only used it a couple days, but my wife seems to like it thus far. I can build some light Aluminum racks if I need more volume. I just need to add a PulseTech solar charger/tender and it should be all set. I think I'm going to have to add a toolbox as there really isn't a good place to put the charger panel. And I suspect this will be used for a lot more than just moving muck.

I did have one issue however. I picked it up at the factory near Ft. Wayne, IN and drove it about 270m to my farm. After arrival, I noticed the right tail light was completely missing. Apparently fell out on the drive. They are sending me another. They must not have seated it well in the vibration rubber. Otherwise, everything looks good.

Hmmm.... photos aren't uploading for some reason.
