OK folks, two weeks ago my 4310 was a mere mortal compact tractor with only dual mid scv and then I installed a 3rd scv. Tonight I finished installation of the power beyond. When I asked the dealer some questions about the installation process he said "you are putting a 3rd scv and power beyond on a 4310" "I have never seen that much hydraulic equipment on a 4310". To which I replied "you ain't never dealt with me before, ha ha ha!"
OK back to our story. The instructions were not as clear as those that came with the snap together model cars I assembled of my youth, but good enough to get the job done. On the 3rd scv you were instructed to remove the tire, fender, seat, and seat panel. Of course I found a couple other things to make the job easier. This time the instructions were to remove the seat only. I ended up loosening the seat panel to give my 30mm wrench a little extra room to work. By the way, a 30mm combination wrench will run you $20 at Sears. If you can get a hold of a 30mm line wrench it will make the installation a lot easier. Not easy, just easier.
I forgot one thing. There was one linkage that I removed to make removal of the original hydraulic line easier. It is a linkage that tell the tractor what position the 3 point is at. I removed the snap ring that holds it on at the three point end. This is on the left side under the seat. It is the piece being pointed at with the screw driver.
