State Farm would insure mine (beyond the homeowner rider), but the Kubota policy was cheaper and was full replacement...Better deal all the way around.

I went with Kubota for insurance on my tractor package because it was resonably priced. The bigger reason, though, was because of Kubota's expertise regarding tractors and the perils regarding operation of same. The last thing you need at claim time is a bunch of "Uh, oh my, lets see" or some other BS. Besides, they know how much it costs them to replace your tractor in actual dollars since they built it.

I checked with my State Farm Agent and my tractors are fully covered while on my property or liability to and from my other farms.

CNH insures mine ... $500 deductible $25K on the tractor and the FEL $184 a year no matter where I haul or use it.

I have their contact info if anyone feels they need it.

Frankly, I almost wish I had just gone with Kubota. Could have thrown it into the financing, it is no more expensive than what I got from my homeowner rider, and it simply is better, according to the reports here on TBN.

Kubota insurance usually repairs HST fan damage, for example, where mine never would. That's just one example. Kubota insurance has a vested interest in getting their tractor, (it isn't really mine until I pay it off) back into tip top shape and protecting their investment.

Farm Bureau is the way to go.

Just received a change if endorsement from Secura out of the blue as I had always had some concerns to my tractor coverage. This was adequate coverage to get a loan with Kubota two years age. They always covered the tractor on my property and they just changed their endorsement to my home owners policy and now covers my tractor with additional added coverage for my tractor off my property with no additional cost.

I just paid off my BX24 loan and continued Kubota insurance for $115 a year. State Farm who dings me for a couple of thousand a year for all my other insurance wanted over $400 to add the Kubota. No- thanks:(

I have Farm Bureau. My agent also owns tractors. I've bought 11 Kubotas in 6 years and have never filed a claim or paid a dollar above my homeowners for coverage. Will they pay if I file a claim, my agent says they will. Will they pay for a HST fan, I doubt it. How many HST fans could I have put on for the savings of paying no additional premiums for 11 Kubotas? Alot.
Bottom line. It's insurance. Your paying an amount of money each month/year betting your equipment will get wrecked or stolen or other bad stuff. The insurance company is betting nothing happens. So far my company has been right as in probably 99% of the time and nothing has happened. If your one of those people that bad stuff happens to on a regular basis, get the most comprehensive coverage you can get and pay the price but insurance is insurance. Compare what your getting for what cost.
