Insuring a tractor

My dealer indicated that the insurance offered by Kubota Finance (which I think you are referring to) is only offered if you finance your machine with them, and only while there is a balance due on the machine.

Not available for cash buyers.

I'm fairly certain that this has changed, KTAC now offers insurance for paid off tractors. There is a KTAC employee that is a member on TBN that goes by "ktac" and he has mentioned before that they do insure all Kubota tractors. If you want, give them a call at 800-348-5802 and ask them.

This is not true, the Kubota Insurance(KTAC) does sell policies to cash customers. They also sell annual policies to customers that have paid off their loans! Not sure who your dealer is, but they are wrong! You have to call KTAC to take out an annual policy no matter if you are done financing or are a cash customer!

This is the TBN member "ktac". KTAC has a 12 month policy available for anyone owning Kubota equipment in the continental US (even if you paid for your equipment 10 years ago). We prefer to stick with Kubota customers since the insurance is cheap but we will cover your attachments or other things such as a trailer as long as you insure your Kubota too (our goal is to keep you as a Kubota customer by offering great insurance at a great price). If you total your Kubota or it is stolen, KTAC may be the difference you need to purchase another Kubota vs. a competitor. KTAC also offers a full term policy (for the amount of your loan) but that is only available if you finance with Kubota Credit. I hope this helps!
