I set the bucket flat on the pile i'm dragging. Then I roll the bucket out so there is pressure on the cylinder as it holds downward pressure on the bucket...JB.
I should add that running at higher engine RPMs helps too. My BX valve has the region position too. Not sure that it helps with the problem though. I think the newer BXs had increased flow at low RPMs that would help that problem too.
Well I got to run machine today, and I was able to cure "limp bucket" syndrome by following the advise that KWENTLING gave about curling bucket down first till you hear the pressure come on, .... so I will continue working it that way until that doesn't work any more. I still feel something is still odd about it though, the first 950 hours I put on this kubota I never had the problem, it is just been this last 50 hours that this problem has existed
Well I guess that I could say I'm lucky that I was able to use it that long before it showed up. I have a lot of seat time grading and excavating with many brands of equipment at work and I have never seen this issue , it still could be just a quirk of the early bx2200's mine is a 2001 model.
