Well ups delivered the jd headphones yesterday. Just in time to test them while mowing.

I have to say I am impressed! Never thought I was gonna be able to listen to music while mowing again. The volume does not have to be way up to hear either. Seem to be well made.

Try the home depot. The sell a set of ryobi noise canceling headphones with iPod jack. The work great. Ran about 60.00. You can even turn on the outside microphone to hear what's going on around you if you choose. They are rechargeable also.

I bought these last year and love them.

Yep, had the same problem with the ipod. Switched to an iphone and all is great now! Ear buds with some hearing protection "sounds" like it'll work good too-and cheaper!

I got to try out my new JD headphones today, they worked out great with my iPod. Now I can listen to my classic rock while cutting. I've been waiting to try them out but it keeps raining and my lawn looks more like a rice patty then a lawn so today things started to dry out a little with some sun the last few days. I would highly recommend them if you don't have a problem with dropping $100 on something Made in China. I wonder who makes them and attaches the John Deere logo to them?

I'm not sure who makes them but I guess we just have to accept that they are made in china. A shi**y reality for any American consumer. Oh well. I can jam out while working now so screw it!

That's great I hope you enjoy your John deer head phones. It's amazing the difference sound cancelation even when the music is off. FYI there is a thing the fire fighters use that's available to the public for about 100$. The ear bud is incased in a custom mould that fits precisely into ones ear canal. They block out all outside sound and work really well
