I do have the soil sample and have the same concerns that you share. Have you used any liquid fertilizer?
There are areas that have shot up some weeds, I quess from the water. I'm considering spot spraying ...I hate a weed.
The only good weed is a dead weed! You can never truly get rid of them in any cost effective mann er once you have them but you can manage them. We get most of ours from the irrigation water and as a consequence my wife can't use that water for her organic garden. It also prevents us from being organic so we have to market our beef as "Narural Beef".
I haven't used liquid fertilizer but the folks around here that use pivots utilize it in the pivot water. They use a plastic tank to hold the fertilizer and there is a metering pump that injects it into the the water at a prescribed rate.
