John , i would never get rid of your tractor. unless you plan to replace it.
even if you decide to go smaller. even a 2305 would do most anything around the house. I worked on tractors for 30 years. and never had my own,
til i bought the 2520. I like most people said. there nice but i really dont need it. well after i finaly pulled the trigger as everyone says. I can not see my self without one. And i only have 2 acers and i dont live in the country.
I am finding as we get older. things you use to do by hand. is much nicer when there is a tractor around. i find now when i go to home depot to get bags of concrete , i just through a pallet in the truck. and when i get home. all i have to do is turn a key....
and lifting heavy objects around the house.
and as i have said the backhoe has been a god send. I dont even own a wheel barrow anymore...
but a tractor and a good set of pallet forks are almost priceless. You have what i would do if i ever went bigger. a 3000 seris and a 448 hoe. but right now. the 2520 has done everything i need it to do and then some...
