Is all hydro fluid created equal

The reason I ask, is because I have a power angle plow that I use on my skidsteer. ( Cat 246 ) The fluid is used to angle the blade left and right. I'm putting a 3rd function on my tractor and the blade could be used on that as well. At this point there is some fluid in the Pistons and lines of the plow from previous use on the skid. Obviously it will end up in the tractors system if hooked up and visa versa.

Nope,it may be similar or compatible , but equal depends on additives and manufacturing process.

Mixing a small amount of the old fluid will not have a detrimental effect on your machine. It will blend with the new and function fine. The larger the capacity of your hyd. system the less the effect. When you change fluid type (dino to syn.) some of the dino is still in the lines and blends with the syn.

as said. sharing implements will generally 'top off' your fluid with other fluid.

for this reason I run utf in all my 'straight hyd oil' implements just so if they are swapped.. at least it is utf mixing in .

No way to avoid mixing. I briefly thought about this when I changed the fluid in my M9540 and replaced it with high dollar SUDT2. Then immediately "contaminated" it with the old oil contained in each of my hydraulic attachments.

I wouldn't worry about such a small quantity of fluid causing any problems. In theory it might lower the spec of the tractor's fluid a tiny amount, but it's hard to imagine that ever causing a problem.
