Is it possible to lengthen PTO/driveshaft??

I'll check out the extender.

I use an extender (more often referred to as an adapter) on my wood chipper PTO drive shaft. The previous owner (of the chipper) must have cut it down to fit his old Ford.
I would NOT use more then one extender! There's a fair amount of runout with using one...more then one extender could put too much load on the tractor's PTO bearings.

Thanks for the tip Roy. Using two had crossed my mind. I'm thinking now of looking at the spreader and the possibility of extending the plate the PTO bolts to on the spreader.

IMHO extenders will cause excessive wobble in drive shaft.

I don't disagree...
I use my chipper 2-4 times a year for yard cleanup....few hours at a time. If I needed it for my RFM, I'd get a proper length drive shaft.
