Heck, I never cared for the Beatles, but apparently a lot of folks do. That doesn't make them overrated. It makes me odd man out. :laughing:

This discussion has gotten to the point of absurd...
I stated an opinion based on my own listening experience...I never said or implied that I dislike them I had their albums and I saw them perform live. I stand by my opinion and any contrary opinion is just another opinion period...all the so called "evidence" is moot...

Age seems to be a major factor regarding opinions but here are some others:

I love asking that question, just to see how the person attempts to answer it; is/ isn't aware of the absurdity, etc... (A good gauge into their soul)..

It's like asking: What's that road in Vermont that has the river/stream next to it?

All musical taste is subjective. So are "official lists" and the criteria for the list.

LoL...personally of that list IMO only two of the bands would actually be "rated"... LZ and the Beatles...

In truth... I would not recognize a single song by any of the other bands listed...

I don' think rock and roll is dead....just older! I know there are good new bands and musicians, it's just the business model has changed, social media, dilution or fracturing of audiences (shorter attention spans?) etc.

Having said that, I keep this on my phone...two birds with one stone...I think the two background photos behind stage during this performance are great.

I know this one. Revolution! Maybe because it’s the only one I somewhat liked and don’t remember the others.

I saw them in Tampa...They had everyone standing on their seats when they did 'What About Me'....Think they were threatened with arrest by the Tampa cops for inciting a riot...!

I've listened to all of them except Linkin Park(sp?). There's some good stuff there....
