Is the backhoe stabilzer foot reversible?

/ Is the backhoe stabilzer foot reversible? #31
Jaybrad,

Did you ever figure this out? I just read that they are reversible and had one of those "duh" moments.

but, for the life of me I can't figure out how to lock it in the "claw" postion.

Took a couple photo's of the "correct" pin placement (according to some). You can see that the pad still can pivot a good deal with the pin in this spot.

When lowering the stablizer I need to be off the machine and use my foot to level the pad with this configuration.

I have to dismount the machine anyway, to switch the seat around. But doesn't seem like the correct way.

That's the position where I have the pin, too. Like you, I also have to get off the machine and use my foot to get the claw to bite, or it winds up like your 4th picture, on its side.

It doesn't seem quite right, but since I'm doing this as much for recreation as for work, the minor inconvenience isn't all that bothersome.

All in all, I really like my 2310 - and I just chalk this up as part of the character of the machine. (I say the same thing about the quirks of my motorcycle and car, too.) :D
