My thoughts exactly.I’m not surprised. Most Ford truck buyers really aren’t considering EVs.

The Maverick 4x4 HEV PU is supposed to do better than 35, but that is their real-world all-around calculation. I don't know the Ford lineup, but I do not think there is a similar SUV, but one of the 2 owners here also has a Toyota Highlander HEV, and it is supposed to get over 30. It is bigger. Is there an SUV version of that? I have scant use of a mini-truck-bed -- I'd consider a 6.5' but I'm more likely to go straight to the SUV if I can't have a real truck bed... and my F350 isn't going anywhere so if I need a bed... but a 35mpg medium sized 4x4 SUV sounds great.
Could've sworn I've seen one around in a sort of metallic orange.Starting see Mavericks everyday on the road but I guess the only come in shades of gray?
Maybe shades of gray has SF market share?Could've sworn I've seen one around in a sort of metallic orange.
Overall a crappy vehicle with weak front suspension. I had one years ago 'Maverick Grabber' and had to rebuild the front suspension at less than 30K miles as the front ball joints were shot as well as the 'A' arm bushings. Ford's 'better idea' was plastic insert joints and hard plastic bushings with no Alemite fittings. Car was a turd.
