RE: Rockshaft

Now we are getting somewhere. Thx for the posts.

It is clear that JD is referring to the 3-point when using the term
rockshaft. Mostly I wanted a definition, but also how it came to
be called that.

My other point is that current manufacturers do not use this rather
obtuse term to refer to the 3PH, except JD. Indeed the shaft that
the 3PH upper lift arms pivot around is only part of the 3PH. In
my limited experience reading repair manuals, I have not seen this
term used by Kubota, NH, Kioti, or Iseki. Does anyone else CURRENTLY
use it?

3RRL, I was just giving credit to you for finding/gathering/copying or however you found that list and adding a few i had heard of.
Of course you developed it, analyzed it and produced it! ;)

On other Forums formated such as TBN, they will sometimes take information like this and make it a Sticky Thread, not saying this thread should serve as "the gospel", but a Sticky is an easy way to save it for posterity.

Or, we can just tell anyone who asks, that 3RRL has the MC=Master-Copy! :D :D

;)
